What is the phenomenon?

BRIEFLY:

We let the employee say what their concern is and tell the HR department how seriously the employee’s concern should be taken. Example: one employee complains about the lack of remote work opportunities, another about poor teamwork; EasyWello indicates which of these employees is genuinely suffering. A more colorful example of the principle: one employee has a stomachache, the other a leg ache. We cannot say their problems are equal until a doctor determines that one forgot to eat lunch while the other has a broken leg. However, typical pulse and satisfaction surveys treat all problems as equal.

A BIT MORE IN-DEPTH:

  1. Who knows best what the employee’s concern is? The employee, not the service provider or even the organization’s HR department. This means the employee must be able to freely express what is troubling them in the work environment, rather than evaluating various broad issues pre-selected for them.
  2. Who objectively knows best how serious an employee’s concern is compared to others? A scientific and specific work stress test, not the employee or other pulse and satisfaction surveys. An employee can only assess the magnitude of their concern subjectively, which means these results cannot be compared to each other or used to draw organization-wide conclusions. Additionally, humans are notoriously bad at assessing their own mental state.

Example: Employees 1 and 2 are, in reality, very satisfied with their work situation but note the lack of remote work opportunities as an issue. Due to the absence of more serious concerns, this becomes their biggest “problem.” Meanwhile, Employee 3 is in very poor mental health due to their work situation and cites poor teamwork as an issue. What should the HR department conclude from a result where 66% of employees complain about the lack of remote work opportunities and 33% about poor teamwork, without additional context?

It is clear that, based on a typical pulse or satisfaction survey, we cannot determine which issue is creating a toxic work environment in the organization due to the subjectivity of the results.

How does EasyWello work?

The survey consists of two parts:

1. The first part is a scientifically validated work stress survey with 23 questions that identifies the employee’s work stress level.
2. The second part contains three open-ended questions. These identify the employee’s concerns, solutions to those concerns, and what the employee is satisfied with regarding their employer.

Completing the survey takes about 8 minutes, and organizations only need to conduct the survey 1-4 times per year.

As a result of the survey the employee receives a detailed overview of their stress level and burnout risk, accompanied by interpretative information and recommendations. The organization receives a detailed, analyzed, and organized report on the state of the work environment and possible solutions. This serves as a tool for both managers and the HR department.

Process: To conduct a test survey, we will provide you with a link, which you can forward to your employees. By clicking the link, the employee is directed to the EasyWello survey page, where they can complete the test and read informational materials.

How much does the survey cost?

The price for the organization is €7.9 + VAT per employee who completes the survey. The final price is determined after the survey is completed. Based on the number of respondents, we issue an invoice accordingly.

Example: An organization has 300 employees. Within two weeks, 210 employees (70%) complete the survey. In the third week, we analyze the results and deliver the report along with the invoice.
Price: 210 * €7.9 = €1,659 + VAT
